Bordon to Bentley rail link
For those who oppose the reopening of the old rail link, the report in the Petersfield and Bordon Post that the cost of reinstating this line-estimated at £50m-and likely to rule out this possibility as a result,is indeed welcome news.Whatever the cost,by far the best option would be to reinstate the Bordon to Liss line. This would give access both north to London and also south to the Portsmouth area and the M.27 corridor, whereas the Bordon to Bentley link would only give access towards London, resulting in it being grossly underutilised. The link to the Petersfield Post's report enables anyone to comment and I would recomend as many people as possible e-mail their views as to the complete waste of our money if the link to Bentley is considered.

I will be emailing...the Bentley line is a bonkers idea (I will probably word my actual email a little better though!).
