Bordon to Bentley rail-link option would probably cost around £50M
A report from East Hampshire District Council's Policy Advisory Group ( PAG ), concerning the Whitehill/Bordon Eco-town masterplan has stated that ' A rail link may not be an option, as the relatively short link to Bentley would cost around £50M'. (approx. £12.5M/mile ). The findings of a six- month long feasibility study by civil engineering consultants are due next month. Read more:- Petersfield/Bordon Post
