Where does your (tax) Money Go ?

And where will it go from now on ?  Have a surf around this award winning website from The Open Knowledge Foundation which gives details of where our taxes are spent. It's presented in a fascinating interactive visual form. http://www.wheredoesmymoneygo.org/   To start, click on 'Dashboard'  and the page gives UK-wide spending for 2010-11. Place your cursor on any of the dots of the graphic and it gives more detailed expenditure. The slider on the right allows you to go back yearly to 2003-4. You can then go on to get national and regional graphs and greater - just keep clicking around !  Also, have a look at the ' long-term trends'  ( it will be interesting to see how these change as the recently announced cuts kick in ! )
