Exercising in the 'outdoor gym' burns 20% more calories
Research from the University of Essex shows that exercise outdoors burns a fifth more calories than the equivalent indoors by using more energy to keep warm and as well as the body muscles having deal with more uneven surfaces.See :- Telegraph This reinforces the benefits of the current campaign being promoted by the National Trust called 'The Outdoor Gym'.
