E-Petition compliance for local councils starts today, Dec 15th

Local councils across the country have been working to comply with a new directive to provide an e-Petitions facility which starts today. Residents should be able to make petitions which will be formally considered by councils in accordance with their chosen policies. Current live local petition sites can be viewed here :-  MySociety
