Aleluya ! A great environmental success story for a change.
Britain's Environmental Agency has won a prestigious World environmental prize for the clean up of the River Thames. Recovery from a waterway that was biologically dead in the 1950's to one that is now teeming with diverse wildlife including salmon, otter and sea trout has been recognised.
