Village's 'right to build' - approval lowered to 75% to thwart Nimby's.

The government has announced that the 'Communities right to build' proposals will now only need a majority of 75% in favour rather than the 90% originally put forward. It is hoped that this lower figure will help prevent Nimby's ( Not in my back yard ) blocking new developments. Read more :-  Telegraph article
