Bordon/Whitehill rail-link feasibility study
Hampshire County Council's Passenger Transport Strategy Department has confirmed that a preferred consultancy firm has been appointed to start work on a second phase feasibility study into the Bordon rail-link in the next couple of weeks. It is expected to take about five months. If one of the options being studied demonstrates a positive business case a further four months will be spent on that route in more detail. There are no known changes in funding to this study or the Ecotown status since the change of Government.
