New scheme for stray dogs

    Great idea. Nothing worse than losing your dog. Hopefully responsible dog owners have tagged & microchipped their dogs to make finding their owners easier. You'd be surprised by the amount of people who still have not got round to doing it.However I also think that if your dog is a bit of a wondering soul or loves chasing things, try not to let them stray too far from you in the first place/keep them on an extendable lead.Use recall often & give them a treat to keep them nearby. Also don't forget to dog-proof your gardens. So many people don't & then wonder how their normally well-behaved furry friend disappeared!
